Double elephant folio sheet, hand-colored engraving with aquatint and etching, matted and framed, possibly trimmed down, not examined out of frame, the sheet an even ivory, coloration different from that seen in the Sachsen-Meiningen set, the winged maple seeds in russet browns, the female appearing in darker colors; this bird is more commonly called the bobolink; 22 1/2 x 15 1/4 in. sight.
