Country Black-painted, Glazed Desk/Bookcase, possibly Vermont, second quarter 19th century, the upper section with an ogee-molded cornice over two glazed, hinged doors opening to a fitted interior of shelves and document compartments, on a lower section with a recessed, paneled drop-front lid revealing three drawers and three compartments, over a projecting drawer and two recessed drawers, raised on scrolled feet, (imperfections), ht. 68 1/4, case wd. 32 1/2, dp. 17 1/4 in.
