Pair of Bronze Marly Horse Sculptures (the 1735 Originals by Guillaume Coustou Mark the Entrance to the Champs-Elysée in Paris), Each Depicting a Young Man Attempting to Quiet a Rearing Horse: a) Measures 14 Inches Long by 15 Inches High and Both The Boy and The Rearing Horse are only Loosely Attached to the Base. Both Reins are Detached from the Halter and the Screw that Attaches the Boy to the Saddle Cloth is Missing; and b) Measures 12 ½ Inches Wide by 15 Inches High with Some Minor Discoloration to the Patina and the Rein is Detached on the Right Side of the Bridle.
