Edward Hopper (American, 1882-1967) Night Shadow , 1921, from Six American Etchings: The New Republic Portfolio published in 1924, edition of approximately 500 (Worcester, 22). Signed "Edward Hopper" in pencil l.r. Etching on paper, plate size 6 15/16 x 8 1/4 in. (17.5 x 20.9 cm), framed. Condition: Prevalent toning and mat burn, margins over 1 inch, pale stain to image c.l., margins trimmed at all four corners, masking tape to verso along upper edge, brown paper tape at lower "corners" on verso.
