(76.2 x 64.0 cm), in a signed and dated Carrig-Rohane frame. Condition: Good. Provenance: Descended within the family of Herman Dudley Murphy. N.B. Nelly Littlehale Murphy (1867-1941) was a painter, illustrator, and etcher, noted for her watercolors. She lived and exhibited in the Massachusetts area. In 1916 she married fellow painter Hermann Dudley Murphy (American, 1867-1945), who also was a noted framemaker who established the Carrig-Rohane frame shop.
