William Stanley Haseltine (American, 1835-1900) Row of Fishing Boats, Venice Unsigned, identified on two labels from Doll & Richards, Inc. , Boston, affixed to the stretcher and frame. Oil on canvas, 13 7/8 x 25 in. (35.3 x 63.5 cm), framed. Condition: Dot of wax or similar to u.r. quadrant of the reverse corresponding to a small paint loss on the front u.l., old retouch, scattered minor paint losses and surface abrasions, tack holes to corners, subtle rippling, discolored varnish, surface grime.
