Hans Hartung (German, 1904-1989) 13 , 1953, edition of 75 plus proofs (Schmücking, 42). Signed "Hartung" in pencil l.r., numbered "65/75" in pencil l.l. Etching and aquatint in black and brown on paper, plate size 15 1/4 x 20 3/4 in. (38.7 x 52.5 cm), framed. Condition: Deckled edges, gentle rippling, unobtrusively light-struck, handling creases (primarily to lower margin). Provenance: Possibly ex collection of Nelson Rockefeller.
