Historic paper document with engraved image of King George II at top surrounded by elaborate scroll and pattern work beside a band of engraved decoration with scrolled foliates, peacocks, crowned lions, and eagles at top above hand rendered calligraphic writing in Latin, possibly noting the appointment of a bishop or acting as an indenture. Left side of document with embossed blue papers that read "V SCHILLINGS" under heraldic shield. Framed 27.5 inches x 39.75 inches. Image size approximately 18.5 inches x 30.5 inches.
