the first of curved form, having a horn handle and metal mounted horn scabbard with turquoise, lapis and coral inlay, the metal mounts depicting the bajixiang Buddhist emblems, with free-moving rings issued from writhing dragons and chilong, centered with a hardstone medallion, the whole raised on a hardwood stand, with a smaller example having metal scabbard with turquoise, lapis and coral inlay and bajixiang decoration, raised on a hardwood stand.
