Soiling to boards; bookplate tipped in front pastedown both vols.; scattered brownspotting. [Together with:] With autographed note signed ("J. Grimaldi"), (4 1/4 x 5 3/4 inches), April 19, 1823. Grimaldi writes to "Little John," "The enclosed performs my promise." With partial wax seal to left edge. Light soiling; 1-inch repaired tear.
