Autographed note signed ("Alexander Fleming"), one page, on Ministry of Health Emergency Medical Service Sector 6 letterhead (6 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches), October 9, 1947. A prescription for penicillin lozenges, prescribed to John Crawford. Fleming won a Nobel Prize in 1945 for his discovery of the antibiotic substance penicillin. Framed and matted. Size of frame 11 1/4 x 9 1/4 inches.
