oval form consisting of greenish blue translucent enamel over guilloche base surmounted with crown motif accents containing cabochon cut garnets and round brilliant cut diamonds, the ovals bordered by a raised row in silver containing single cut diamonds, joined by chain link to the gold terminal bars in a fluted finish accented by silver criss-cross sections containing round brilliant cut diamonds. Stamp: 56 (maker's mark EK for Erik August Kollin). NOTE: Erik August Kollin (1836-1901) was born in Finland and opened his workshop in St. Petersburg 1870, working as Carl Fabergé's first chief jeweler until 1886. 8.70 dwts.
