the late 18th century case with sloped and hinged lid, serpentine front with brass escutcheon and side lifting handles, fitted interior with star inlay and chequerbanding, with set of early 19th century ivory-handled flatware with silver metal endcaps engraved with anchor over "Hawke," and silver metal socket fittings engraved "H. B.," or "H. Bouchier," some dated 1812, comprising six each dessert forks and knives, and twelve each dinner forks and knives, all with steel blades and tines. Height of box 13 1/4 x width 8 1/4 x depth 8 1/2 inches.
