comprising six cut glass jars having pierced and engraved lids, a pair of small jars, a shaving brush and a pair of cut glass bottles having unmarked silver lids, all in a fitted lift-out leather tray lacking some elements, together with a set of steel and ivory handled necessary tools including a corkscrew, a straight razor and thirteen other articles with marks for G. Palmer, St. James Street, fitted into a velvet-lined tray, both sets contained in a locking case monogrammed JEL and having a parquetry inlaid interior lid with a diagram illustrating the various woods, the hinges of the case also with marks for Thomas Diller, London, 1837. Width of case 10 5/8 inches.
