Folio, contemporary calf, rebacked, retaining original upper and lower boards, spine gilt in compartments, gilt-lettered red leather spine label, marbled edges, title printed in red and black. First edition, with numerous in-text engravings (many full-page) and six engraved plates (five fold-out). Armorial bookplates tipped in front pastedown; hinges cracked; some rubbing to boards with loss to corners.
