London: Printed for Vernor, Hood & Sharpe, et al. , 1806. 2 vols. 8vo, finely bound in contemporary tree calf, double filet border with blind-stamped pattern of knots and circles between them, foliate gilt cornerpieces, repeating on the back cover, orange gilt-lettered spine labels, marbled edges and endpapers. With copper-engraved portrait after a painting by Peter Lely, 15 (of 16) plates engraved after sketches by William Hogarth, and satiric head- and tail-pieces by Charles Nesbitt, a student of Thomas Bewick. Light rubbing to boards; otherwise fine in very fine binding.
