Venice: Aldus, 1567. 12mo, contemporary blind-stamped pigskin over wooden boards with roll-tooled roundels of the Four Evangelists, gilt-lettered red leather spine label, woodcut Aldine printer's device to title and verso of colophon. Light wear to boards; renewed endpapers; bookplate tipped in front pastedown; intermittent foxing; otherwise good with a beautiful contemporary binding.
