possibly Takeuchi Chiubei, of handled, tapering cylindrical form having a slightly everted mouth rim, the exterior decorated in gilt on a black ground, with a key-fret border above a repeating leaf form pattern, with a geometric band having reserves of floral mons, the body having gilt floral decoration, raised on a circular foot, signed to the underside. Height 11 1/2 inches.
