Pete Long (American, Contemporary), collection of seven contemporary Native American hand carved animal facial and human facial decorative masks comprising of a fox, an antlered deer, a dog or wolf, and four human faces (two with painted accents on face, one with long dark hair, the other with pointed ornament on top of scalp). Each signed and dated on interior 4/96. Each mask with fibrous string holder on back for mounting. Height of deer mask approximately 16.5". Note: Pete Long is best known for his wood carvings of masks and sculptures, particularly his masks of the seven clans of the Cherokee. _x000D_
