made of birds-eye maple, spruce and ebony, the bow made with pernambuco wood, 14K gold end and sterling silver plug, signed to interior of instrument, set in a plastic enclosure with opening instructions, retaining original letter dated 1978, detailing craftsmanship and stating it is number 3 in a collector's series limited to 12 examples, made expressly for Adell Venus. Length 5 1/4 inches.
