after a design by Thomas Seymour, circa 1810, having urn form finials and a pierce carved crest over the molded cornice and two double arched glazed doors above the roll top opening to a fitted interior and writing slide, over two drawers with ivory escutcheons, raised on fluted tapering legs ending in turned feet, the open niche signed the back further bearing a brass tag engraved with the original fitted case. Height 6 13/16 x width 2 13/16 x depth 1 7/16 inches.
