the carved jade plaque of pale celadon and russet stone, with a circular base with raised C-scrolls and a recessed circular center below a tablet-form flange with a vertical row of raised bosses and flanked by opposed qilong, the silver marked Solid Silver and having a rubbed Chinese maker's mark, together with a Japanese silver example, having a hammered and waisted handle with bamboo motif, the tapering blade with Jungin 'pure silver' standard mark. Length of longer overall 9 1/8 inches.
