Copenhagen, 1891, rubbed maker's mark, the domed cover having a finial of a man holding a horn with a rooster between his legs, the body having repeating bands of Celtic-style dragon decoration, the upper band with four medallions of crowned busts in relief, raised on two bird form feet and a swan form support, bearing assay mark for Simon Groth; approximate weight 43.33 ozt. Height 13 3/4 x width 11 inches.
