late 19th/early 20th century, each of baluster form on a yellow ground, one side painted with courting couples in landscapes, the reverse with sprays of flowers, the lids decorated with birds and flowers, marked with interlaced Ls centered with BB above an S, mounted with female mask handles and set on square bases with concave corners, drilled. Height 13 inches.
