the cup carved in high relief with figural scenes including a man over a cauldron, a figure cooking and a reclining old man with an attendant carrying a tray with tea seated next to a flowing stream under pine trees, the side of the cup carved with a cliff having a poetic inscription carved in relief, the handle in the form of a pine tree wrapping over the lip of the cup. Please note that the handle of the cup has been broken and repaired with some losses to the horn material. Width over handle 5 1/8 x height 5 1/2 inches.
