of pale celadon colored stone with gilt decoration of a craggy pine tree on one side, the other having an extensive calligraphic inscription referring to a 300-year old fresco painting of a pine tree, comparing the painting to a real pine tree outside in nature: 'the two trees are like two old men and are close like brothers'; written in the Tang style and dated to the Spring with a cyclical date mark, contained in a geometric, gilt bronze border and further raised in a hardwood stand.
