Qing Dynasty, the main panel depicting immortals set in a mountainous landscape, shown with various attributes with figures holding a sword, peaches, fan, double gourd, bamboo drum, lotus blossom, and baskets of flowers, with a figure riding atop a buffalo, a figure reclining in a rootwood boat, a figure with a third eye, an immortal floating atop chimes, a plump figure with open shirt floating on a gourd and Liu Hai holding a rope with coins atop a three-legged frog, all set atop a gilt reserve, having carved wood panels at the top and bottom with relief carving of archaistic style in a geometric pattern, the reverse having polychrome decoration of birds and flowering plants. Height 90 x width of each panel 25 inches.
