With six (of seven) plates illustrating the achievements of early twentieth-century aviators, with a number of them signed by the aviator featured. Signatures include: Louis Bleriot, two copies (first to fly the English Channel); Albert C. Read (first nonstop crossing the Atlantic in a flying boat); Charles Lindbergh (first nonstop crossing the Atlantic without a flying boat); Richard Byrd (first to fly over both poles); and Charles Kingsford-Smith (first to fly between Australia and New Zealand). Blue wraps stained and in pieces; prints in good condition.
