Autographed letter signed as Mickey Mouse, to Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Hall, Chicago, Illinois, pen and watercolor, framed by original illustrations of Mickey Mouse and Pluto. Gilbert P. Hall was employed at the firm of Holabird and Roche. While no record exists of the incident, the letter suggests Disney stayed with Gilbert Hall and his wife at their home in Chicago. He writes: "Walt has asked (crossed out, and written "told") me to write and thank you for the nice way you treated him while he was visiting in Chicago. He left me at home to do the work while he galavanted[sic] around and took my bows - now he makes me write his 'thank you' letters - P.S. whata[sic] boss - thank you, for him - Sincerely, Mickey Mouse."
