The map shows the area of the former British colonies, the Eastern seaboard, the Mississippi basin with New Mexico, the Caribbean islands, the South American coast and Central America, with inset maps of Baffin and Hudson's Bay and part of California, and an engraved cartouche depicting British merchants at port with a ship in the background being loaded with cargo by black slaves. Framed and matted. 51 x 56 inches.
