Presentation Copy from Albert Einstein to John Nuveen, founder of Nuveen Investments, Chicago, IL, with a typed letter signed ("A. Einstein"), 1 page, on Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists letterhead, Princeton, NJ, April 29, 1947. The author, Selig Hecht, was the Vice-President of the Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists, for which Albert Einstein was President. Einstein praises the book in his letter to Nuveen for giving a clear account of nuclear fission.
