Emmanuel Mukombwe (African, 20th century). Carved green stone animal figurine in the form of a roaring lion. Lion depicted moving forward and with an aggressive expression as he roars, mane subdued and resting against his neck and back. Signed on bottom "Emmanuel Mukombwe". Height 5 inches, width 8 inches, depth 2 inches. Provenance: From the Estate of Mr. Thomas V. and Mrs. Marie B. Patton, Atlanta, Georgia.
