17th/18th century, with carving in high relief on the exterior of three figures of boys riding atop pedestals of clouds and holding a hand scroll, a floral branch and a branch laden with fruit respectively, the reserve carved in a motif of flower petals with scrolled design, the lower register carved with a water motif and having the curled stem of the flower on the underside surrounded by thin blades of grass with one blade leading up towards the rim carved in high relief, the interior of the cup carved as leaves, raised atop a fitted pierce carved hardwood stand carved with pine needles and lingzhi fungus. * Height 4 1/4 x width 6 5/8 inches.
