19th century, having pierced carving throughout, the top crest depicting two dragons flanking a flaming pearl the back having an oval cartouche of figures in an outdoor setting, the armrests in the form of sinuous dragons supported by figural carvings, with shaped wood seat having lappet border, the apron pierce carved with multiple hanging double gourds, raised on two claw and ball feet at the front with splayed legs in the back. Height 45 1/2 x width 23 x depth 20 1/2 inches.
