Oriental porcelain teapot with circular lid with meandering spiral border surrounding black characters and raised finial handle. Exterior of teapot with figural decoration of a woman in a blue robe in an exterior with cherry blossoms lower portion of vessel with blue wave motif. Additional black calligraphic marks on white ground on opposite side of hand painted decoration. Marked on bottom. Height 4", width (from spout to handle) 8".
