circa 1840, the dial marked , the white dial having black Roman numerals with a subsidiary seconds ring and arch date aperture and is surrounded with building vignettes, the hood having a swan neck pediment, with brass finials and rosettes, flanked by outset faux-bamboo columns, the cross-banded case has a short trunk door, flanked by spiral columns, on a tall plinth base and bracket feet. Height 84 x width 17 1/2 x depth 9 inches.
