circa 1780 and 1790, the first possibly Birmingham and of rectangular form with bombe base; the lid with a house and lake in the background and a Neoclassical folly with a column and an urn in the foreground, the second, of oval form with hinged lid, on a dark blue ground; the lid decorated with a classical urn hung with floral swags. Height of first 1 1/4 x width 2 x depth 1 1/2 inches.
