with floral tooling, square skirt, two-inch cantle, wide horn, eight conchos with extra-long strings, horse pad, maker's mark "Edw. H. Bohlin, Inc. Hollywood, Cal." on both fenders, Serial No. "30048" stamped under pommel. Provenance: Made for Clark Gable and gifted by Gable to Jimmy Louck, his wrangling coach, with a signed letter from James H. Burk, Louck's stepson, attesting to the provenance. Size of seat 17 inches.
