Qing Dynasty, the front depicting figures at various activities amongst a garden with whimsical scenes with a repetitive border of gilt oval medallions, the reverse depicting spotted deer amongst pine trees with small flowering plants and lingzhi fungus next to a flowing brook, signed Liu Wangwen, bearing a poetic inscription and date inscription for the 22nd year of the Kangxi reign with the artist's seal. Height 72 x width of each panel 16 inches.
