First edition of Parrish's masterwork, illustrated throughout in color on thick paper. Inner hinges cracked; some light rubbing to pastedown; evidence of bookplate removal to verso f.f.e.p.; light toning to edges; light blindstamp to title page; otherwise an exceptionally fine copy of an increasingly scarce children's book.
