Chinese, 19th/20th century. Collection of eight Chinese export porcelain plates with rose medallion decoration depicting alternating cartouches with courtly figures and floral, bird, and prunus fruit vignettes. Each with bird and pink peony flower at center. Each plate hand decorated and roughly the same size suited for luncheon, salad or dessert plates. All unmarked except for two with red "MADE IN CHINA" on bottom. Approximate diameter 8.5".
