of bombe form, the hinged lid centered with a pastoral scene having a courting couple with a dog and sheep, signed G. Meisel, opening to a velvet lined interior, the front with another scene featuring two maidens with sheep, the sides with floral sprays, the whole with gilt Rococo style decoration with cherubs at the corners, having scepter mark in underglaze blue, with Hutschenreuther stamp, further impressed 3117/5. Height 12 x width 20 1/4 x depth 10 1/4 inches.
