17th century, carved in relief throughout, the interior of the cup having a band of key-fret decoration with a chilong with one horn and waving mane climbing over the edge above the handle having open work decoration throughout, the exterior of the cup having two bands of taotie style decoration above the waisted base containing a band of stiff plantain leaf decoration, the whole raised atop a fitted wood base carved with pine trees and bamboo shoots issuing from the rock work form decoration.
