Hamilton Light Artillery Union Recruiting Broadside, one page, August 28, 1861. With large bold typeface, it reads, "Recruits Wanted. Hamilton Light Artillery! The Hamilton Light Artillery having been accepted by the Government for the duration of the War, and the Company mustered in, and received orders to be in readiness, will accept a few more able-bodied recruits to fill up the Company. A Roll will be found at Camp Todd, Flushing. Pay, which has now been increased to $14 a month, will commence immediately on signing the Roll..." Stamped "State of New York.
