Thick 8vo, contemporary calf, original strap and metal clasp present, engraved printer's device to title page, paginated on rectos only. "Die Propheten" and "Das neue Testament" have separate title pages within woodcut borders. With three double-page hand-colored engraved maps showing the geography of the Old Testament and New Testament, the former with corner portrait vignettes of Adam and Eve, the latter with the Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and Paul and Peter. Pages evenly toned; three pages with tears; rubbing to boards; some underlined passages. Wolfenbuttel copy states it should have 20 plates and four maps. The present copy has only three maps.
