[1833] Folio, period full black morocco stamped in gilt and blind, gilt-lettered spine, a.e.g. With hand-colored engraved frontispiece and 30 hand-colored engraved plates, including vignette title page, illustrating Turkish nobility, soldiers, merchants, etc. Vignette title page dated 1818, but at least one plate watermarked with the date 1833. Extremities rubbed; moderate foxing throughout; light dampstain to endpapers and manuscript ex-libris to f.f.e.p.; plates overall very good with excellent color. Literature: Colas 2059
