London: Printed for J. Johnson, 1795-1800. 8 vols. bound in 4. 4to, 3/4 smooth blue-gray cloth over marbled boards, spines gilt in compartments with red and blue spine labels. Second edition, preferred, with titles and text in English and French. Complete with 336 hand-colored etched plates, of which 278 are of birds and 58 of eggs by and after William Lewin and his sons. Occasional oxidation to some plates; otherwise fine.
