Engraved title page and 45 engraved portraits by George Glover. Wear to boards; hinges starting with first and last few pages loose but attached; manuscript notation of previous owner to f.f.e.p.; first few pages slightly trimmed at the margins with some loss along the upper edge; age darkening; repaired tear to bottom of pp. 451-474; otherwise fine.
