Boston: Lee and Shephard, 1889. Folio, green cloth, gilt titles and decorations to boards, all edges gilt. With 24 color lithographed plates from Miner's paintings of live plants. The first color plate book by an American (Nissen BBI 1382). Front board detached; rubbing to boards with some loss to the spine and extremities; minor offsetting from plates; some plates detached but present; otherwise plates are bright.
