In his article, "Memories of Elvis," Gary Pepper recalls the first time he heard Elvis Presley on the radio, "all of a sudden I heard this strange sound, 'that's all right mama, that's all right for you, that's all right mama just anyway you do' and my ears perked up! I said, ' Who's that?' And man, like all hell broke loose!"
